PR General Contractors Inc. is looking for an experienced and skilled Red Seal Carpenter to join our construction team.

Responsibilities

- Perform framing, finishing, and general carpentry work.
- Work on new construction and renovation projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials.
- Install doors, windows, trim, partitions, and other building components.
- Ensure work meets project specifications, building codes, and safety requirements.
- Supervise, guide, and train apprentices and junior carpenters.
- Teach apprentices proper carpentry techniques, tool use, safety procedures, and construction practices.
- Review apprentice work and provide practical instruction on job sites.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.

Requirements

- Valid Red Seal Carpenter certification is required.




- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant carpentry experience.
- Experience with current construction is required.
- Must be comfortable training and mentoring apprentices.
- Strong knowledge of framing, finishing, and general carpentry.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction drawings.
- Robust communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
