Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to support and oversee daily warehouse operations in Waterloo, Ontario.

The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with warehouse management to coordinate shipping, receiving, order picking, packing, inventory control, material handling, loading, and delivery activities.

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring someone who can effectively supervise and support a warehouse team while maintaining high standards for safety, accuracy, productivity, organization, and customer service.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and taking an active role in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, inventory control, material handling, and order fulfillment.
- Plan daily work assignments and coordinate staffing to maintain efficient workflow.
- Coordinate order picking and packing to ensure accuracy and timely shipment.
- Verify incoming and outgoing materials against work orders, purchase orders, and specifications.
- Support loading and unloading of trucks while ensuring materials are handled safely.
- Coordinate deliveries and assist with route planning to improve efficiency and minimize unnecessary costs.
- Monitor warehouse productivity and identify opportunities for process improvement.




- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure materials are properly identified and stored.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and report issues to management.
- Monitor warehouse equipment and ensure it is operated safely and maintained appropriately.
- Work with other departments to resolve shipping, receiving, inventory, and operational issues.
- Assist in developing and improving warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Support special projects and operational initiatives as required.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience, preferably in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment.

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on warehouse position. Candidates must be able to:

- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs, where required.
- Bend, reach, crouch, and climb step stools or ladders safely.
- Push and pull carts, pallets, and materials.
- Maintain balance while handling and moving products.
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Use computers and mobile devices for warehouse-related tasks.
- Work safely in a physically active warehouse environment.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving is preferred.
- Experience with inventory control and order fulfillment is an asset.
- Experience coordinating deliveries or transportation is an asset.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, building materials, carpentry, or a related industry is an asset.
- Previous experience using warehouse equipment is preferred.
- Valid driver's licence and clean driving record are an asset.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
