The Detailing Technician will be responsible for contributing to the productivity and efficiency of the entire Bodyshop department. Responsibilities include detailing vehicles to remove any signs of an accident or repair, perform necessary maintenance to the shop as required, checking in vehicles, scanning for trouble codes and managing work assignments to achieve targets.

Job Duties

- Detail vehicles to remove any signs of an accident or repair
- perform necessary maintenance to the shop as required
- wash vehicles before and after the required repairs
- Take photos of vehicles on arrival
- Scanning vehicles for trouble codes before and after repair
- manage work assignments to achieve targets set out by Manager
- ensure the achievement of quality standards in restoration and repair, to reduce and eliminate re-work and warranty claims
- review work orders to work as efficiently as possible





Requirements

- possess a valid driver's license
- ability to work independently in a busy setting
- highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- able to work well under pressure
- able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times

Working Conditions

- Physically be able to lift up to 80 lbs
- safety equipment will be required, eg steel toed boots, safety glasses etc
- overtime as required
