About the position
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Supervisor oversees operational teams and ensures timely and successful delivery of Custodial services, as outlined in Scopes of Work. Responsibilities include leading the service delivery team on an assigned client project as per the Scope of Work; assigning and scheduling teams; recording progress and job status using company systems; establishing strong relationships with staff and clients; and meeting regularly with the Manager to review progress and look ahead. Success in this role requires keen attention to detail, a strong focus on customer service, and effective communication skills. Hours: 7am – 7pm
Shift: Alternating rotation working 7 days on/7 days off from Wednesday – Tuesday

Major Duties and Responsibilities
General
· Serves as the first point of contact for on-site client requests, and responds promptly
· Aligns interactions and decisions with Kleenway values and mission
· Collaborates effectively with co-workers across departments
· Consistently arrives to work, appointments, meetings, and events on time
· Writes clearly and informatively and edits work for spelling and grammar
· Protects Company by keeping business-related information confidential
· Complies with policies and protocols, as amended from time to time
Leading, Communicating, Documenting
· Leads service delivery team on assigned client project to ensure effective service delivery at client site
· Required to provide coverage during opposite rotation in the event of a staff shortages as required
· Reviews Scope of Work for each assigned client project, and records progress and status in relevant system(s)
· Actively participates in weekly meetings with Manager, as scheduled
· Establishes and maintains positive staff and client relationships by ensuring open communication at all times
· Updates each assigned Client regularly as outlined in Scope of Work, and as per Company guidelines and quality goals
· Maintains, logs, and completes internal and external documentation and electronic logs for assigned client projects
Scheduling
· Assigns and schedules service delivery team (staff) to client sites, and reviews requirements and responsibilities
· Maintains daily and weekly cleaning schedules for staff in system and updates staff, Manager, and client
· Monitors staff hours in compliance with Company payroll system
· Verifies and oversees carrying out of periodic assignments, such as deep cleaning
Inspections, Audits, Opportunities
· Performs inspections as per Audit Schedule agreed upon with client, and documents and reports results to client and Manager, as required
· Carries out improvements as needed to meet expectations and maintain quality
· Monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as per Audit Schedule
· Carries out maintenance audits on all equipment, maintains Preventive Maintenance Log for each client site, and reports issues to Manager promptly
· Monitors level of consumables for assigned client projects as part of inventory control including PPE
· Identifies additional business opportunities and presents these to Manager or senior management team
· Identifies and recommends opportunities for process or quality improvement, and implements these upon approval by Manager or senior management team
Human Capital/Supervisory
· Provides team members with healthy, safe, and respectful work environment
· Sets priorities, coordinates work, and monitors progress towards goals
· Serves as first point of contact for questions and concerns from team members
· Meets with team members regularly to review progress and look ahead
· Participates in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new team members
· Appraises and documents employees’ performance, recognize achievement, and addresses incidents and complaints
Health & Safety
· Leads team (“all hands”) safety meetings on-site
· Ensures that team members wear PPE and operate equipment in a prescribed manner
· Completes all mandatory health & safety training, and keeps current on best practices
· Models how to carry out service activities in a safe and effective manner
· Ensures that team members work safely while on-site, have access to required tools and resources, and operate equipment in a prescribed manner
· Ensures company vehicle is in good and safe working condition; arrange for service when required
· Documents and reports any incidents, injuries, property damage, and “near misses” to the Manager immediately
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED
· At least three (3) years of relevant experience, with track record of success in custodial management, building and supervising cohesive teams, improving processes, exceeding customer expectations, and resolving quality and compliance issues
· Solid knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation, codes, and best practices
· Comfortable with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), accounting and FM software, and other Apps
· Ability to take fast and decisive action in situations that involve uncertainty and risk
· Solid written and verbal communication skills (English)
· Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
· Ability to lift, carry, and place items of up to 50 pounds
· Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
· Ability to work in outdoor environments, exposed to heat, sunlight, rain and cold
· Availability to work outside of regular business hours, as needed
· Valid ‘G’ driver's licence and clean abstract, and ability to dependably and timely arrive to work, meetings, sites, etc.

Pay: $35.00 per hour
