We are currently looking to hire a candidate, who wants to join our team as a Mechanic.

Location: Outside the Toronto Int. airport (1883 Bonhill Road, Mississauga, ON. L5T 1C1) Work is performed at our facility location.

Job Summary: Work with the shop team as a mechanic, perform Preventive maintenance, Refurbishment, Repairs and Modifications on Aircraft Support Equipment (mostly automotive based), such as: Tow Tractors (small and large), Beltloaders, Ground Power Units (Generators), Passenger Stairs, Air Start Units, Hydraulic Jacks, Hydraulic Powered Units.

EXPECTATIONS

· High work morals, trustful personality that likes being a mechanic.

· Has formal mechanic’s education (license not required)

· Has considerable mechanical aptitude and tool-using skills,

· The ability to work with people and minimal supervision.

· Must own a good assortment of mechanic’s tools and safety shoes

· Read drawings and schematic prints and use precision measuring tools.

· Possess good verbal English communications skills





-Ability to demostrate leadership quality.

· Ability to be qualified when in stressful circumstances

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

We will be happy to consider you as a candidate, provided you meet the following:

· Five (5) years’ experience with strong skills relating to Automotive, Trucks, Industrial equipment, diesel, gas engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems and pneumatic (air).

· Experienced in fixing anything & everything, rather than replacing parts.

· Overall optimistic, energetic and enthusiastic personality; a good communicator

Remunerations: $26 to $37 per hour, to be assessed on skills and performance

Work hours: 40-44 work hours per week. Start 7:00 am – Finish 3:30 pm.
