In order to improve efficiencies and provide excellent service to our vendors and companies, we are consolidating our Accounts Payable processing into our Corporate Office in Woodstock, Ontario.

Job Description

We are looking for an energetic team player to add to the Accounts Payable department. The role involves:

Key Responsibilities

1. Invoice Processing

o Review and enter Accounts Payable invoices.

o Manage transaction flow to ensure adherence to company policies.

2. Vendor Relations

o Collaborate with vendors to standardize invoice and payment processes. o Manage and coordinate vendor master data and set-ups. o Reconcile vendor accounts as needed. o Respond promptly to vendor inquiries.

3. Collaboration with Contrans Companies

o Process transactions through various systems, including ICC, Infinium, MIR, Logistics, Fuel, and RVI (imaging).

4. Invoice & Payment Processing

o Assist with invoice and cash payment processing. o Provide support for the cash requirements process.

5. Fuel Management

o Support the processing of fuel-related transactions.

Qualifications





- Hands-on experience with financial software and systems (knowledge of ICC, Infinium, MIR, Logistics, Fuel, and RVI is an asset).

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to manage a high volume of transactions accurately and efficiently.

- Effective communication skills and a customer-service focus.

- Flexibility to adapt to evolving responsibilities as the AP department grows.

This is a hands-on position requiring proficiency in various software programs used across the organization. Due to the high volume of transactions, maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal controls is critical. As the Accounts Payable department continues to grow and evolve, responsibilities may adapt accordingly.

The position reports to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $48,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
