Duties

- Safely remove asbestos materials using appropriate containment procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Use hand tools and power tools to carefully dismantle or extract asbestos-containing components from structures.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of work areas before, during, and after abatement activities to prevent contamination spread.
- Assist with construction-related tasks such as demolition or restoration work as needed during projects.
- Follow strict safety protocols, including proper disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with environmental regulations.




- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection logs, safety reports, and project progress updates.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Experience

- Prior experience working with cleaning, restoration, or construction projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in demolition or remediation tasks.
- Knowledge of asbestos removal procedures, safety regulations, and environmental compliance is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols at all times.

Pay: $18.87-$32.23 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
