Adecco is currently hiring a Senior Sourcing & Contracts Specialist for a full-time opportunity within a large industrial environment in Sparwood, BC. This role is ideal for experienced procurement and supply chain professionals with expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier performance, commercial negotiations, and project procurement.

As a key member of the Supply Chain team, you will lead sourcing initiatives from planning through contract execution, while serving as a trusted advisor to operational stakeholders and supplier partners. - Pay Rate: $53- $63/hour

- Location: Sparwood, BC | Relocation support provided

- Shift: Monday to Friday | 8 hours per day

Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Contract Management

- Lead sourcing activities, including tendering, negotiation, and contract award.

- Develop sourcing strategies and manage contract execution.

- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and service agreements.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

- Build relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.

- Act as the primary contact for supplier and contract matters.

- Resolve supplier issues and support business decision-making.

Supplier Performance & Continuous Improvement

- Monitor supplier performance and contract compliance.

- Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing and procurement.





Governance & Project Support

- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements.

- Manage contract amendments, renewals, and change requests.

- Collaborate with project teams and mentor procurement team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Degree, diploma, certification, or qualified designation in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, Commerce, or a related field.

- SCMP designation (or equivalent) is considered a strong asset.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, contract management, or supply chain roles.

- Proven experience managing project contracts, competitive bidding processes, and contract execution.

- Strong commercial acumen and advanced negotiation skills.

- Experience working within mining, industrial construction, engineering, energy, or heavy industry environments.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.

- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.

- Valid Class 5 Driver's License (or equivalent).

- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
