We are seeking an experienced /part time and full time boarding kennel assistant.

We are looking for a compassionate and highly motivated individual who values exceptional client service in addition to outstanding animal care. You should possess solid communication and teamwork skills and be able to multi-task with consistent attention to detail.

Experience working as a dog handler is required.



Must possess proper animal handling and restraint skills as well as basic computer skills. Responsible for the care and comfort of the pets in our facility. Duties include providing food/water, exercise and administering eye drops/oral medication. Other duties include client service, laundry and cleaning.

Front end customer service skills are required. High paced environment and the right individual must be able to stay organized and multitask.

Requirements:

You must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required experience:

- professional animal handling 1 – 2 years
- High pace environment, must be highly motivated and take direction well
- Inbound/Outbound Phone experience
- Microsoft skills

Required education:

- High school or equivalent

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.75 per hour

- Red Deer County, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
