Pest Control Service Technician

Want a job that gets you out in the community, gives you problems to solve, and lets you see the results of your work? Porter Pest Control is hiring a Service Technician.

You’ll visit homes and businesses, investigate pest concerns, carry out treatments, and help customers understand what comes next. Some days are straightforward; others call for patience, careful investigation, and a willingness to get into the places pests hide.

What you’ll do

- Respond to residential and commercial service calls
- Inspect properties, identify pest activity, and recommend appropriate solutions




- Carry out services safely and in accordance with applicable requirements
- Explain your findings and next steps clearly to customers
- Keep accurate service records and maintain your vehicle, tools, and supplies
- Manage your schedule and follow through on commitments
- Build trust with customers and identify opportunities to help them further

What we’re looking for

You take pride in doing the job properly, communicate well, and pay attention to details others miss. You’re comfortable working independently, treating customers with respect, and handling the physical side of field work. You’ll also need a valid driver’s license for the company vehicle.

Pest control or wildlife experience is an asset, but it isn’t required. We’ll train the right person. You must be willing to study for and complete the Structural Exterminator exam.
