Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mig Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding processes
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding to join metal parts accurately according to specifications
- Use plasma cutting tools to shape and form metal components with precision
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment safely to cut, grind, drill, and assemble parts
- Conduct rigging operations and utilize crane systems for lifting heavy materials during fabrication or installation
- Measure materials using calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools; perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments
- Read schematics and technical diagrams to ensure proper assembly of ductwork, structural components, or fabricated assemblies
- Maintain a clean work workplace by organizing tools,



inspecting finished products, and adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with construction-related tasks as needed, including assembly of large structures or equipment

Skills

- Proficiency in MIG welding; experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes and equipment operation
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in plasma cutting, press brake operation, and machining techniques
- Familiarity with rigging procedures, crane operation, and forklift handling for material movement
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, calipers, and basic math for precise measurements
- Experience with manufacturing environments involving ductwork or structural assembly
- Construction experience is advantageous for understanding project requirements and safety standards
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical instructions effectively
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills
