Deburring Technician – Aerospace & Precision Machining

Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay: $18–$25/hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Shift: Day Shift – Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM–10:00 AM

Important: Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident status is required

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Deburring Technician to join a precision manufacturing environment serving the Aerospace, Medical Device, Defense, Military, Space, Energy, and Environmental industries.

This is a hands-on finishing role working with small precision-machined components. We are looking for candidates with strong experience in deburring, grinding, polishing, sanding, filing, and finishing who have excellent attention to detail and take pride in producing high-quality parts.

Responsibilities

- Deburr, grind, polish, sand, and hand-file small precision components
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections
- Use hand tools and handheld power tools, including die grinders, rotary tools, pneumatic tools,



sanders, and polishing equipment
- Perform finishing and surface preparation using various media
- Perform visual and quality inspections of finished parts
- Follow work instructions, drawings, and manufacturing specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Support problem-solving and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in deburring, metal finishing, grinding, polishing, or a similar role
- Hands-on experience working with small precision-machined components
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Experience with deburring, polishing, grinding, sanding, filing, and/or sandblasting
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Valuable eyesight and ability to perform precise work
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and quality-focused
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Experience in aerospace, defense/military, medical device, nuclear, space, or other precision manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
