Lead engaging after-school programs for children aged 5-12 at YMCA Child Care in Kelowna, BC. This part-time position invites you to foster a secure and inclusive atmosphere for children.
As an Activity Program Leader, you will work from Monday to Friday, typically between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., building positive experiences through teamwork and play-based learning. Your role is critical in developing children's confidence and social skills through structured activities aligned with YMCA's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create meaningful after-school programming for children
• Deliver programs that inspire engagement and promote growth
• Adhere to safety standards as per provincial requirements




• Develop relationships with children, parents, and faculty
• Enable educational play activities including various subjects
Requirements:
• Must be at least 19 years old
• Obtain Responsible Adult Certification or equivalent training
• Experience working with children essential
• Valid First Aid Certification with CPR Level B or C
• A Class 4 Driver's Licence will be an advantage
