Employment Type: Summer Student Position (8 weeks, Seasonal)
POSITION SUMMARY
This is a seasonal 8-week position for a summer student. This role involves working in our warehouse and workshop, assisting with deliveries, and performing general labour tasks. This is a hands‑on position ideal for someone interested in construction, trades, or logistics.
Duties
- Load and unload hardwood flooring materials
- Assist with organizing and preparing inventory in the warehouse
- Support basic workshop and carpentry-related tasks
- Ride along on deliveries and assist on job sites
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties
- Keep work areas clean, protected, and organized
- Assist with other general labour tasks as needed
Skills & Requirements
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials
- Reliable, punctual, and hard‑working
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
- Interest in construction or trades is an asset
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
- Must meet eligibility requirements for the Canada Summer Jobs program
