and adherence to company policies and industry regulations (CVIP, DOT, NSC, etc.)Develop and implement shop policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiencyControl shop budgets, parts inventory, and vendor relationships, including outsourced repairsTrack and analyze KPIs such as shop productivity, cost per repair, and downtimeCollaborate with operations and dispatch teams to minimize downtime and maximize fleet availabilityPrepare and maintain accurate maintenance records and reportingWhat You BringPrevious experience managing a truck or heavy equipment shop (minimum 5 years preferred)Journeyman Truck/Transport Mechanic (Red Seal) certification preferredStrong leadership skills with proven ability to supervise, motivate, and develop a teamKnowledge of regulatory requirements for fleet safety and inspectionsExperience managing budgets, cost control, and vendor negotiationsFamiliarity with fleet maintenance software (e.G.
