Tower Engineering Group is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Calgary office. This is a senior position within our Mechanical Department that combines technical expertise with a robust focus on mentorship, team development, and leadership. The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to engineers, designers, technologists, and drafting staff while helping coordinate workloads and maintain the technical quality of the department's work. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with and developing people. The ideal candidate will be comfortable mentoring staff, providing technical direction, sharing their experience, and helping team members develop their skills and confidence, while also taking an active role in the design and delivery of mechanical engineering projects. Team Leadership & Mentorship Mentor and support junior and intermediate engineers, designers, technologists, and drafting staff. Provide technical guidance and share knowledge and experience with members of the Mechanical Department.



Help staff develop their technical, project management, and client communication skills. Assist with coordinating workloads, project assignments, priorities, and scheduling within the department. Provide constructive feedback and support the professional development of team members. Encourage collaboration, communication, and knowledge sharing within the department. Serve as a senior resource for staff when technical or project challenges arise. Assist with onboarding and development of new employees. Help identify opportunities to improve department standards, processes, quality, and efficiency. Work closely with senior management to support the continued development and growth of the Mechanical Department.
