We are actively searching for an experience Maintenance Technician for a client of ours located in Delta, BC. This is a full-time opportunity that will transition from a contract to permanent placement.

The right candidate will need to come with a strong Millwright or Electrical background. A Red Seal ticket would be preferred, but a 4th year apprentice who is working towards there certification could be considered.

Schedule/Shifts

This is a Monday to Friday day shift. Must be able to work the scheduled 8-hour shifts Mon to Fri with a 5:45am start time. In the busy season must be flexible between the hours of 5am – 5pm, with some weekends and overtime as needed.

Preferred Experience

- Solid mechanical knowledge with experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment
- Electrical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose low and medium voltage circuits
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC’s, VFDs, and Servos.
- Experience with HMI’s and Industrial Computers

Job Requirements/Duties

- Familiar with most power and hand tools
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Able install and rebuild process pumps
- Perform Preventative maintenance on machinery
- Document work completed in CMMSUnderstand hydraulics, pneumatics, boilers, and other systems
- Replace and repair control valves
- Clean, lubricate,



and replace defective parts on machinery
- Logical troubleshooting is an asset
- Able to use rigging equipment for installation and servicing of machinery
- Must be willing to obtain forklift, fall protection and Arial Boom Lift ticket

Other Requirements

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to clearly convey information to personnel from various functional areas.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistics.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to forecasting and other practical situations
- The job requires regular standing, walking, and handling of tools and controls.
- Occasional lifting of up to 51lbs., sitting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing
