Join the fun at Edmonton Public Library as a Student Page at Strathcona! We're searching for an enthusiastic shelving ninja who enjoys interacting with the public in a vibrant setting.
As an engaged Student Page, you'll help keep our library materials in order while assisting customers in finding what they need. This part-time position is open to youth aged 15-17 currently attending high school. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy teamwork, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize library materials and shelve new arrivals
• Provide assistance to library visitors and answer questions
• Ensure neatness and order in shelving and public areas
• Handle library materials with care, including lifting
• Work effectively as part of the library team
Requirements:
• Must have completed Grade 9
• Currently attending Grade 10, 11, or 12
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Some experience in a library is an asset
• Flexibility for evening and weekend work
