Become a part of Park Place as an Occupational Therapist, dedicated to improving seniors’ quality of life through specialized care. Your role is crucial in promoting resident independence and mobility in a supportive setting.

Reporting to the Site Leader, you will implement goal-oriented programs to assist residents based on their assessments. Focus on creating individualized care approaches while collaborating with physical therapists and other team members to follow best practices in accordance with Park Place policies.

Key Responsibilities:



• Conduct and document initial and ongoing assessments • Develop and implement individualized resident treatment plans • Collaborate with the care team to enhance resident wellness • Attend interdisciplinary conferences and leadership meetings • Ensure secure working conditions and equipment maintenance

Requirements: • Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program • Two years of relevant experience with senior patients • Current registration with the provincial occupational therapy body • Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken • Familiarity with nursing and therapeutic equipment
