This position is based out of Stayner, Ontario.ResponsibilitiesProviding leadership, coaching and mentoring to a team of supervisors and team leaders across a 2‑shift operationOversee daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targetsManage production schedules, ensuring orders are completed on‑time and in‑full each dayMonitor workflow, capacity, and resource allocation to optimize efficiencyConduct performance evaluations and support employee development plansFoster a culture of accountability, teamwork,



and open communicationEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and company policiesPartner with Quality Assurance to maintain product standards and reduce defectsSupport investigations and problem solving to address and prevent issues in productionIdentify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and streamline processesImplement Lean, 5S, and other improvement methodologies to improve efficiencies and reduce wasteSupport robust training practices and develop programs to reduce turnover and increase retentionTrack and analyze KPIs to drive data‑based decision‑makingCoordinate with Maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtimeCoordinate with Engineering for process improvements, new equipment installations and new product launchesBudget responsibilities for entire production department, including managing expenses and direct labour utilizationWork closely with Supply Chain, Materials, Quality, and HR to support plant goalsCommunicate production status, challenges, and progress to senior leadershipPrepare and present daily production metrics and monthly production resultsPromote a safe working environment through training, audits, and corrective actionsPromote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and problem solving in productionSupport production teams in achieving their objectives and daily production metrics, including work order closure and batch record managementEnsure enforcement of Customer Specific Requirements and compliance with all governmental regulationsAdhere to all Cronos Group and departmental procedures as requiredAddress performance, attendance or interpersonal issues quickly and thoroughlyPerform,



direct and/or carry out any reasonable assignments required by ManagementYour Environment (production specific roles only)Required to work overtime as neededRange of temperatures, depending on product requirementsLifting up to 15‑20 lbsStanding & walking for long periods of timeYou will need to have:7‑10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentPost‑Secondary Degree/Diploma in a technical or business fieldStrong understanding of quality management systems, Microsoft Office, training, ERP systems (SAP preferred), Lean/5S culture with demonstrated history of improvementsStrong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical abilitiesStrong problem‑solving skillsAbility to build and inspire teams, coach, mentor and develop supervisors and excellent collaboration skills for cross‑departmental relationship buildingAble to supply an acceptable Criminal Record CheckSalary range: $100,000 - $120,000 (Stayner, Ontario*) per year. The actual compensation offered will be based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, applicable market data, internal equity, and business needs, and may vary within the stated range.
