Your mandate will include advising on all aspects of family maintenance law and representing the agency in court settings. By collaborating with other departments, you will ensure adherence to legal standards while addressing social issues affecting clients.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide expert legal counsel on maintenance-related cases • Support Case Managers with legal inquiries and processes • Attend court and represent BCFMA during enforcement actions • Create legal materials and perform case research • Foster relationships with Indigenous communities aligned with BCFMA’s mission

Requirements: • Juris Doctor and active membership with Law Society of B.C. • At least 3 years of family law experience in court • Familiarity with Family Maintenance Enforcement Act • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities • High customer service skills and team collaboration
