Herc Rentals is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic in Grande Prairie, AB. Specialize in service and maintenance of Scissor Lifts and Boom Lifts in a full-time capacity.
This role requires a Red Seal Technician with a minimum of three years experience in heavy equipment repairs. You'll diagnose equipment issues, perform regular maintenance, and ensure a clean working workplace. Collaboration with customers is key to fostering positive relationships and ensuring safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment fleets
• Diagnose and repair complex systems, including hydraulic and electrical
• Conduct tire replacements and oil changes
• Produce service reports and maintain organization at job sites
• Educate customers to prevent future breakdowns
Requirements:
• Valid HET Red Seal or Journeyman Off Road Certification
• Three years of relevant heavy equipment experience
• Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to be on-call bi-weekly
• Must successfully complete drug tests
