The ideal individual will be independent, proactive, polished in executive settings, and capable of building strong industry relationships while advancing opportunities through the full transaction lifecycle.What you will achieve in this role:- Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities across exploration, development, and producing mining assets- Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, and strategic assessments to support M&A; decision-making- Monitor mining market trends, industry developments, and competitive activity to identify potential growth opportunities- Build and maintain target pipelines, asset tracking databases, and screening tools to support investment analysis- Conduct desktop due diligence using public disclosures, technical reports, and market intelligence to identify risks and opportunities- Partner cross-functionally with technical, finance, legal, ESG, HR, and operational stakeholders during diligence processes- Coordinate internal and external advisors throughout transaction execution and diligence workflows- Support the execution of M&A; opportunities from early-stage assessment through transaction completion- Assist with confidentiality agreements, diligence planning,



information gathering, and process management- Develop presentations and investment materials for senior leadership and executive-level decision-making- Present strategic findings, valuation insights, and transaction recommendations in a professional and structured manner- Build relationships with investment bankers, mining executives, consultants, and industry participants to strengthen deal sourcing efforts- Participate in industry conferences, networking events, and market discussions to support business development and opportunity origination- Contribute to maintaining organized internal deal documentation and corporate development materialsWhat you must bring to this role:- University degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline- CFA, CPA/CA, or P.Eng designation considered an asset- 5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, mining finance, equity research, or related transactional environments- Strong financial modeling and valuation experience, ideally with exposure to mining assets or natural resources- Experience evaluating mining projects and understanding technical/economic drivers of mining operations is highly preferred- Exposure to at least one full M&A; transaction lifecycle from initiation through closing strongly preferred- Experience within a mining company, mining-focused investment bank, advisory firm, or consulting environment supporting mining clients is highly desirable- Ability to bridge both financial and technical conversations,
