Responsibilities

Lead the development, execution, and continuous evolution of the Firm's Data Governance strategy, roadmap, and priorities

Drive governance initiatives and programs that strengthen data quality, ownership, lifecycle management, information protection, and AI readiness

Provide recommendations to leadership and governance committees on emerging risks, opportunities, and governance decisions

Establish success measures, monitor program outcomes, and manage risks, dependencies, and issue resolution across multiple initiatives

Build strong partnerships across Service Lines, Regions, Resource Groups, IT,



and business stakeholders to align governance practices with organizational objectives

Act as a trusted advisor, influencing the adoption of sustainable data governance practices while balancing business needs and operational realities

Collaborate with technical teams to support governance initiatives involving Microsoft 365, Purview, data classification, retention, reporting, and information management solutions

Translate business requirements into actionable governance solutions and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Lead governance communications, stakeholder engagement, change management, and training initiatives to drive awareness and adoption

Maintain governance documentation, policies, records, and reporting to support oversight, compliance, and continuous improvement

Skills and Experience

5+ years of experience leading governance, program management, business transformation, or strategic initiatives in a complex organization

Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results

Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and build consensus across business and technical teams





Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, business-focused recommendations

Experience developing governance frameworks, policies, processes, or operating models

Familiarity with data governance, information management, privacy, compliance, or information protection practices

Experience supporting change management, communications, training, and adoption initiatives

Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Purview, or similar governance and information management technologies is considered an asset
