ElbowRiver Casino is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Off-TrackBetting (OTB) Cashier to join our team.

As an OTB Cashier, you will providefriendly and efficient service to our guests while processing horse-racingwagers, balancing your float, operating specialized betting terminals, andensuring all transactions are completed accurately and in accordance withapplicable rules and procedures.

The successful candidate will becomfortable working in a fast-pacedenvironment, have strong communication and customer service skills, andbe able to work independently with limited supervision. Previous experience with horse racing and Off-Track Betting is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service to guests.
- Process horse-racing bets using specialized betting terminals.
- Maintain and balance cash float accurately.
- Operate and perform basic troubleshooting of betting terminals and related equipment.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions to theappropriate service technician.
- Prepare and maintain decoders and televisions used forhorse-racing broadcasts.
- Monitor for and report suspicious activity to theSupervisor or Security.
- Identify and report suspected counterfeit bills.
- Follow all rules,



procedures and requirementsestablished by the CanadianPari-Mutuel Agency (CPMA).
- Organize and prioritize work effectively while managingmultiple tasks.
- Communicate information clearly and professionally.
- Perform duties with limited supervision.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous OTB, horse-racing or related bettingexperience is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills inEnglish.
- Strong mathematical skills, including the ability toadd and multiply numbers quickly and accurately.
- Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisionswithin established procedures.
- Basic computer skills.

Requirements

- Must be 18years of age or older.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Must be available to work in a fast-pacedcustomer-service environment.
