Description

Armour Transportation Systems is currently seeking a professional and safety-focused Highway Driver based out of Fredericton, NB.This position is ideal for drivers who enjoy consistent highway work and a predictable schedule. Drivers will operate a tractor-trailer on a dedicated day run, transporting freight through the Fredericton highway and a designated terminal and customer locations.

What You'll Do

- •Operate a Class 1 tractor-trailer in a safe and professional manner.
- • Complete scheduled highway runs in designated terminal and customer locations.
- •Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of freight.
- •Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- •Maintain accurate driver logs and required transportation documentation.
- •Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and applicable transportation regulations.
- •Communicate effectively with dispatch, terminal personnel and customers.

What You’ll Need

- •Valid Class 1 driver's license.
- •Minimum 2 years previous tractor-trailer experience.




- •Clean driver's abstract and criminal record check.
- •Strong knowledge of local and regional routes.
- •Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service.
- •Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- •Reliable, skilled, and dependable work ethic.
- •Experience with freight handling and scanning equipment is an asset.
