We are currently seeking confident and experienced Event Security Supervisors to support upcoming events throughout Vancouver and the surrounding area. This role is ideal for individuals who are strong communicators, natural leaders, and capable of managing both security personnel and client relationships in a fast-paced event environment.

Position Overview

As an Event Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading security teams at various events, ensuring operational requirements are met, and serving as the primary point of contact between West Egg Security and the client. For this contract, the successful candidate should be able to work independently, lead with confidence, make sound decisions, and maintain effective communication throughout the event.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise, and support Event Security Guards during assigned events.
- Act as the primary liaison between the client and West Egg Security onsite.
- Ensure all staff are properly deployed and fulfilling their assigned duties.




- Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate site expectations to the team.
- Monitor event operations and respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and client concerns.
- Maintain professional communication with event organizers, venue management, emergency services, and West Egg Security management.
- Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and other required documentation.
- Ensure all company policies, procedures, and client requirements are followed.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to security personnel throughout the event.

Requirements

- Valid British Columbia Security Worker Licence.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in security, events, hospitality, customer service, or related industries for at least 1 year.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to confidently lead a team and make decisions in dynamic environments.
- Professional client-facing experience and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

- Event security supervisory experience for 1 year.
- Experience managing large crowds and public events.
- First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Experience preparing reports and communicating with clients and stakeholders.
