Description: WebFOCUS is the reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) frameworkcurrently used to support MTO operational reporting for several criticalbusiness functions. This engagement supports the design, development, anddelivery of a replacement operational reporting portal. The successfulresource(s) will re-platform existing WebFOCUS reports — including theunderlying business logic, SQL, and data transformation rules — into a up-to-date,supportable web application (Java back end / Angular front end) hosted in theministry's Azure environment, in accordance with Ontario Public Service (OPS)architecture, security, and accessibility standards. Deliverables: The services and deliverables to be provided by theresource(s) will include the following: Web User Interface:



Fully commented and functional Angular front-end code forthe reporting portal Unit test code and automated UI test coverage Responsive, accessible (AODA-compliant) report viewstranslated from existing WebFOCUS report layouts Application Programming Interfaces (API): Design and construction of REST API services exposing reportand reference data Documentation for developers on effective use, integration,and versioning of the API Backend / Data Development: Java-based backend services connecting the application tounderlying relational databases Migration and refactoring of existing WebFOCUS SQL andreport logic into the new application Source Code: Source code developed to specification, version-controlledin Azure DevOps Knowledge
