KeyDuties&Responsibilities; Health&SafetyCompliance;

Supportthedevelopment,implementation,review,andcontinuousimprovementoftheCity’shealthandsafetyprograms,policies,procedures,standards,andsafeworkpractices.

ContributetotheevolutionoftheCity’shealthandsafetymanagementsystemandoverallsafetystrategy.

EnsureorganizationalcompliancewiththeOccupationalHealthandSafetyAct(OHSA),WorkplaceSafetyandInsuranceAct(WSIA),andrelatedlegislation.

Coordinateandsupporthealthandsafetyprograms,includingworkplaceinspections,hazardassessments,contractorsafety,confinedspaceentry,workplaceviolenceprevention,andfirstaidcompliance.

ConductcomplianceauditsandgapassessmentstoensureadherencetoOHSA,applicableregulations,standards,andcorporaterequirements.

Monitorlegislativechanges,emergingtrends,andbestpractices,recommendingprogramenhancementstomaintaincomplianceandsupportcontinuousimprovement.

RiskManagement&IncidentPrevention;(Operational)

Qualifications
