Become a Senior Dining Room Server and provide outstanding food service to our cherished residents. Previous food service experience is required, along with a commitment to learning.
This position is all about creating a positive dining experience for seniors. You will greet residents as they arrive, serve food according to their needs, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Interaction requires empathy and the ability to address resident requests with care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve meals to residents during designated meal times
• Ensure adherence to dietary needs and preferences
• Explicit tables and manage dishwasher operations
• Prepare dining tables in alignment with facility standards
• Document resident meal feedback through logs
Requirements:
• Previous experience in food service with seniors preferred
• Capable of handling heavy items and tolerating heat
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
• Knowledge of WHMIS and food safety standards
• Patience and tact in resident interactions
