Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting in project administration including writing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reportsAssisting technical staff with various project tasks, including researching, compiling and evaluating project data, preparing reports and performing calculations for water and wastewater treatment projects and/or sewer or tunnel design projectsPerforming easy calculations, computer data entry, along with some exposure to CAD, GIS, design and cross‑trainingPerforming research and contacting vendors for informationComplete other engineering/administrative duties as requiredCapabilities and CredentialsProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to multi‑task, prioritize, and take directionKnowledge of state and federal regulations, policies, and programs is a plusEducation and ExperienceIn progress toward earning a Bachelor's degree (minimum) in civil or environmental engineering (or related field)Specific coursework or exposure to one or more of the following: planning, design, construction of water and wastewater systemsTypical Office EnvironmentTypical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
