Education: Related certification or degree from an accredited post-secondary institution Experience: Previous adult teaching experience, specifically working with Deaf adults and literacy learners Knowledge: about technology, Adult Learning Principles, and Skills for Success application in literacy development Technical & Delivery Skills: can tech classes either online or in person Communication: Fluent in ASL, written English and general communication skills, especially in diverse, multi-ability environments Interpersonal: Robust patience, understanding, and ability to work respectfully with individuals from various cultural backgrounds and abilities
