As the Crew Chief, you will report to the Chief Engineer and oversee various maintenance tasks while ensuring compliance with both Babcock policies and Canadian regulations. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to effectively manage the crew while supporting defense operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and trainees
• Administer task cards and manage maintenance inventory
• Conduct aircraft structural and mechanical repairs
• Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations meticulously
Requirements:
• Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license required
• Experience with AW-Family rotary-wing aircraft
• Understanding of CAMP or comparable maintenance systems
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks
