Finning Canada is expanding and looking for three skilled Heavy Duty Mechanics in Edmonton for engine overhaul and diagnostic tasks. Ideal candidates will hold a Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification with at least two years of experience in repairing 3500 series engines. You will also leverage your knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and emissions systems in your daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on Caterpillar engines
• Effectively troubleshoot issues with various equipment
• Utilize Failure Analysis and Reuse & Salvage Guidelines
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols
• Engage in CAT Dealer Training for skill enhancement
Requirements:
• Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience
• Previous expertise in Gas Engine and Power Generation is beneficial
• Significant experience in electrical and hydraulic systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
