Contribute to resident wellness as a part-time Dietary Aide at Extendicare in Timmins. This role involves meal serving, preparation, and maintaining an inviting dining setting.
Working closely with the Culinary Services team, you'll help create enjoyable meal experiences for our residents. Candidates with a Food Handler's Certificate and prior experience in food service will find this an excellent fit. You'll also support the training of new team members while adhering to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve residents and guests with professionalism
• Prepare various food items for meal service
• Set dining tables and deliver meals to trays
• Ensure cleanliness in kitchen and dining spaces
• Assist in hosting special events and celebrations
Requirements:
• Possession of a Food Handler's Certificate
• Preferably experienced in food service industry
• Enrollment in Food Service Worker Training Program required
• Physically able to handle hot, heavy items
• Criminal background check required
