In this role y ou must be tactful and non-partisan, demonstrating an attention to detail, and an ability to work under tight deadlines with confidential material. The Inquiries Officer will be expected to work on cross-mandate matters as required .This is a current vacancy.What you will doReporting to the Team Lead, Ministers’ Staff and Public Sector Ethics, you will be:receiving and reviewing inquiries from ministers’ staff about their obligations under the Public Service of Ontario Act, 2006 and the Conflict of Interest Rules; Receiving and reviewing inquiries from Ontario agencies, boards and commissions; Carefully assessing eachrequest against the relevant legislation and/or regulation, and drafting appropriate responses regarding conflict of interest, gifts, political activity,
