Large scale mining services with a strong understanding of field execution realities, including productivity, equipment utilization, labour availability, schedule impacts, site constraints and local content Equipment and MaterialsA Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Supply ChainProven track record in cost optimization, cost modeling, and total cost‑of‑ownership analysisStrong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills with multi‑year, service‑based contractsDeep understanding of cost drivers, contracting models, and risk management in complex service marketsSkilled in using SAP, Ariba, and spend analytics tools to support sourcing, contract lifecycle management and cost optimization initiativesStrong financial, business acumen, and commercial capabilities, and ability to lead others in connecting ideas, events and circumstances to identify effective business solutions in a complex environmentAbility to summarize complex commercial decisions for leadership approvalsExperience supporting Indigenous partnership commitments, local content considerations, or supplier development initiativesResponsibilities:Identify cost‑reduction opportunities through market analysis, supplier collaboration, demand management and monitoring of category spendApply data‑driven insights to challenge specifications, service delivery models, and commercial structures to achieve sustainable cost savingsLead sourcing‑to‑contract events, ensuring commercial outcomes balance cost efficiency, performance,

You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W. Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs.
