Role Description The Forklift Operator/ order picker role is a full-time, on-site position based in Surrey, BC. In this role, the operator will safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse and shipping areas. Day-to-day tasks include performing shipping and receiving functions, handling and organizing materials, packing orders, and maintaining accurate documentation of inventory movements. The Forklift Operator will inspect equipment before use, follow safety procedures and company policies,



and work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely order processing. The role may also involve general warehouse duties such as cleaning work areas and assisting with other material handling tasks as needed.

Qualifications

- Proficient in Forklift Operation with demonstrated ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Experience in Shipping & Receiving, including processing incoming and outgoing shipments and related documentation.
- Skilled in Material Handling and Unloading, with the ability to move, stack, and organize products and materials.
- Knowledge of Packing practices to ensure orders are correctly prepared, labeled, and secured for transport.
- Valid forklift certification or license, or willingness to obtain one as required.
- Ability to lift and move materials as part of regular warehouse duties; familiarity with workplace safety practices.
- Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills for tracking inventory and shipments.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work full time on-site in Surrey, Delta,Richmmond BC, both independently and as part of a team.
