The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.Typical Day in roleChampions a customer‑focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems and knowledge.Ensures timely confirmation and settlement of trades by tracking unmatched transactions across the unit & proactively analyzing/addressing root causes. This includes but is not limited to verification of daily settlements, cash control function, investigation of settlement issues, and involvement with projects as they relate to the team, as well as any other assigned daily control points.Provides insight and support to management during planning, organizing and successful implementation of projects affecting the unit’s operations.Pro‑actively supports management efforts to monitor group activity so as to ensure internal control procedures remain effective, are understood and adhered to.Supports management efforts to motivate staff, increase individual performances, execute a robust training schedule and assign workstation responsibilities fairly.Understand how the bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day‑to‑day activities and decisions.Actively pursues effective and effective operations of the respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy,



adherence to and effectiveness of day‑to‑day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.Must‑Have Skills2+ years of experience with FX Options2+ years of experience working with all bank policies, regulatory requirements, limits and controls that may affect or restrict all aspects of the day‑to‑day responsibilities for the unit.Thorough grasp of all operating systems and applications used such as Murex and XceptorNice to HaveDerivatives settlement is an asset.Spanish proficiency is an asset.Soft Skills RequiredAdvanced communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills in English.Creative, collaborative mindset with consistent attention to detail.Excellent time management skills.Ability to manage workload independently and within timelines on multiple projects while maintaining a consistently high standard of design output.EducationBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Capital Markets/Banking.FP Inc. is committed to creating an inclusive environment where all team members and clients feel like they belong.
