My family in Collingwood, Ontario is looking for someone who can help out with the day to day needs of my two boys 7 and 9 years old. I look forward to hearing from you! and wise "grandparent type person" to help with my two boys (ages 7 and 9) from time to time. My needs are consistent enough that I'm willing to pay a salary / retainer for the right person(s) but this would mean that when I require help it will be available. I'm not looking for a teenager or baby sitter. Im hoping to find an older person or couple (although will consider any age), ideally retired in Collingwood who has lots of time and love to give two wonderful boys. We live in Collingwood near Osler ski hill and are not on any bus or train routes. Here is the ideal person / people : drives, owns a car, and has a clean driving record -has experience entertaining kids and keeping them busy without resorting to screens all the time -willing to do occasional overnights at my home -can follow explicit instructions -can do school drop offs and pick ups occasionally as well as after school program drop off / pick up. -can cook a meal -does not smoke -is clean and tidy -is patient -is wise with diverse life experience, and willing to be a positive role-model in a the child's life If you’re currently a grandparent to young children, or have been one before, than you know what the roll entails. About me. I’m a single dad with a professional career that has me in Toronto and traveling a lot. I have my boys every second week (other week they are with their mom). We have zero family near by and could really use more people in our life that can become family, help care for the boys and just generally help their parents maintain a healthy balance. Finally, I consider this a highly paid opportunity. The right grandparent / nanny will be compensated very well.
