The Bayview Group is looking for a Red Seal Mechanic to join our team as a Service Foreman at our Jacksonville, New Brunswick location. Bayview Trucks & Equipment Ltd. is a Full Service, Parts and Sales dealer for Kenworth Trucks and KUBOTA farm and construction equipment, with 6 locations in New Brunswick (Saint John, Fredericton, Moncton, Woodstock, Bathurst and Miramichi) and two in Nova Scotia, Current Glasgow and Dartmouth.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Foreman oversees and assists in the day-day planning, direction, and supervision of the Service Team; ensuring quality maintenance standards are adhered to and processed within manufacturer and company guidelines.

When required the Service Foreman also performs vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize and assign all vehicle repairs to personnel, inspecting work in progress and upon completion.
Instruct and train employees in proper maintenance procedures, policies/procedures, and job safety.
Report work status and special problems to the Service Manager.
Communicate with customers, shift personnel, and coworkers to establish and maintain effective working relationships and ensure excellent Customer Service.




Use Diagnostic Equipment to evaluate mechanical problems
Work alongside a technician when required to aid with problem-solving of a difficult repair.
Other duties as assigned

Required Experience/Skillset:
Fully licensed Red Seal Mechanic
Solid technical computer skills with an emphasis on Windows based programs and MS Excel & Word
A minimum of 3 years of truck dealership experience.
Excellent Customer Service Skills with the ability to prioritize and focus in a fast-paced environment
Cooperative and team-oriented personality with a professional positive attitude.
Experience with PACCAR Systems or Karmak is an asset.
