The Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for day to day pharmacy activities and assisting the pharmacy staff with administrative duties.
Pharmacy experience is preferred.
Welcome patients in a skilled and considerate manner.
Comply with legal intervention limits regarding patients and confidentiality.
Respond to questions from patients or refer them to the pharmacist, as the case may be.
Process, fill, and package prescriptions.
Cash out patients.
Recieve, put away order.
Receive and forward suggestions from patients to the person in charge.
Respond to telephone calls and record information regarding prescription refills. Filter all other calls.
Adaptable evening and weekends hours.
Job Type: Full time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Experience
Pharmacy software: 1 year (preferred)
