Job Title: Machine Seibi Technician

Location: Cambridge, ON (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months Contract with possible extension

Interview 1: STAR/Video interview via MS teams for 60 minutes. (Panel interview)

Interview 2: On-site interview for 60 to 90 minutes. (Panel interview)

Technician, Body Weld Seibi.
Commissioning current Body Weld equipment at Factory and Machine vendor sites.
Robot teaching, PLC troubleshooting, Equipment inspection/confirmation
Support Body Engineering for Body weld model change activities.
Primary project focus at Cambridge + Woodstock, Ontario, Canada sites, with possible support of other plant locations.

Requirements:
2-year technical degree (A.S.) or equivalent work experience.
Experience in industrial maintenance, robot programming, PLC logic modification and troubleshooting
Offline and/or online robot programming




Confirm that recent model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended
Prepare and confirm current Body Weld equipment at the vendors
Support weld machine Seibi activity at North American Manufacturing Companies from installation to start of production
Develop equipment countermeasures during set up/trials

Additional Desired Qualifications:
Experience with automated robotic welding (spot/arc) and robotic material handling preferred.
Industrial maintenance.
Body weld shop experience an asset.
Travel Required: US, Mexico & Japan
Overtime: 75% during weekdays, weekends, shutdown, holidays and odd hours. 20 to 24 hours alternate weekend.
