SLR Consulting is seeking a Junior Environmental Scientist to join our Guelph, Ontario team. Focus on site evaluation and remediation across varied project environments while gaining hands-on experience.

This chance allows you to be part of the Land Quality and Remediation team, where you will execute and support environmental assessments, remediation programs, and the maintenance of contaminated sites. Your role is crucial in assisting project managers and utilizing your expertise during fieldwork and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
Execute Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
Support soil and groundwater sampling and remediation efforts
Assist in preparation and review of technical reports




Help monitor project timelines and budgets during execution
Communicate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams

Requirements:
Two-year diploma in environmental technician required
3 to 5 years experience in contaminated site assessment
Understanding of health & safety practices in relevant settings
Experience working in Canadian remote locations
Active eligibility or status with a skilled organization
