Valard Construction is seeking a Journeyperson Powerline Technician to join our Toronto team. Emphasizing safety, this role is critical in constructing and maintaining power distribution systems. Positioned under the Construction Foreman, you will play a hands-on role in powering communities by working on both overhead and underground electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a Journeyperson certification (434A or Red Seal) and have substantial experience in the utility sector. Joining the CUSW, you will also guide and mentor less experienced technicians. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and construct electrical infrastructure safely
Perform energized work and system switching tasks
Teach safety practices and procedures to apprentices
Lead job hazard assessments and safety planning
Document compliance with safety regulations Requirements:
Journeyperson Powerline Technician (434A or Red Seal) certification
Experience with energized and underground installations
Class 4 Rubber Glove certification
Valid Driver's License with valuable standing
