Human Resources Manager

Location: Calgary

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and hiring priorities.
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
Act as a trusted HR advisor on employee relations, workplace concerns, and performance matters.
Coordinate the annual performance review process and track development commitments.
Support leaders with performance management, coaching, documentation, and employee development planning.
Maintain and administer HR policies, procedures, and employee records.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices.
Coordinate learning, training, and career development initiatives across the organization.
Track certifications, career development requirements, and training participation.
Prepare and coordinate employment offers and other HR documentation.
Supervise and mentor an HR Coordinator, providing guidance and setting priorities.
Support organizational HR initiatives,



employee engagement programs, and culture-building activities.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and employee experience.
Collaborate with leadership teams across multiple offices to provide consistent and practical HR support.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
Knowledge of Alberta employment legislation; Ontario experience is an asset.
CPHR designation (or working toward it) is considered an asset.
Robust communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
