Position Overview

Seeking a House Assistant for a residence located in West Vancouver. The successful candidate will ensure the household operates efficiently by overseeing family schedules and administration, coordinating errands, and supporting light housekeeping duties as needed. This position is full-time, live-out. Work hours are generally between 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday, with some flexibility required.

Candidate Profile

You are an experienced and knowledgeable household professional who enjoys keeping a clean and organized home. You understand how to communicate clearly with your principals, and are comfortable working independently in an environment with children. You will become a trusted and valued part of the family’s support system; someone who takes genuine ownership of the details, and anticipates the family’s needs before they come up.

Your stable presence will help create the time and freedom for a young family to live the life they are intentionally building.

Primary Responsibilities
Execute daily light tidying duties, including bed-making and kitchen maintenance
Support daily meal preparation, primarily chopping vegetables and preparing snacks




Support household scheduling and organizational systems
Manage school pickups and transportation to after-school activities for the children
Monitor and replenish household inventory, including groceries and cleaning supplies
Provide basic wardrobe management and organizational support for all family members, including laundry, ironing, and steaming
Offer occasional childcare support as needed
Uphold and follow household security protocols
Supervise waste management, including recycling, compost, and garbage disposal

Applicant Qualities
Minimum three to five years of experience in a private household setting
Valuable communication skills and qualified personal presentation
Detail-oriented
Robust and confident driver
Excellent housekeeping and laundry skills; correct use of products and methods for fine finishes and surfaces
Commitment to privacy and confidentiality, maintaining professional boundaries always
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Possession of a valid full driver’s license
