We're looking for a junior data engineer to support the build-out of data pipelines and warehousing solutions that power Sarmaya's enterprise systems and explainable AI layer.
What You'll Do
Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
Support data quality checks and basic monitoring
Help document data models and pipeline logic
Learn Sarmaya's data governance and cataloging standards
Support troubleshooting of pipeline failures under guidance
What We're Looking For
0–1.5 years of experience with SQL and at least one pipeline tool (Airflow, dbt, etc.)
Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts
Willingness to learn cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
Detail-oriented, careful with data accuracy and pipeline logic
Nice to Have
Exposure to Python for data processing
Basic understanding of data governance/compliance concepts
