We're seeking an experienced Controller for a 6-8 month contract in Milton, starting at the end of September. This role is focused on financial accuracy and effective reporting.
This hands-on Controller position requires managing accounting functions and ensuring financial integrity. You will handle journal entries and oversee the sales tax process while supporting the financial close. Advanced Excel skills and strong communication are essential for this impactful role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Deliver monthly and year-end financial statements on time
• Manage sales tax filings and compliance matters
• Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a Controller or senior accounting capacity
• Strong background in public accounting, ideally with a Big 4 firm
• Advanced Excel skills are mandatory
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled and collaborative mindset
