We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Trucking Safety Coordinator to champion safety standards within our transportation operations. Duties
Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures tailored to trucking operations.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of trucks, equipment, and driver practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Lead comprehensive training sessions on safety protocols, defensive driving, hazard recognition, and emergency response for drivers and staff.
Investigate safety incidents or violations promptly, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with management to review safety performance metrics and identify areas for continuous improvement.




Maintain accurate records of safety training, inspections, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
Promote a safety-first culture through ongoing communication, motivational initiatives, and recognition programs.

Qualifications
Proven experience in manufacturing or transportation environments with a focus on safety management.
Robust knowledge of trucking regulations, safety standards, and best practices within the logistics industry.
Demonstrated ability in training & development to effectively educate diverse teams on safety procedures.
Excellent communication skills to engage employees at all levels and foster a culture of accountability.
Ability to conduct thorough investigations and analyze data to identify root causes of safety issues.
Certifications related to transportation safety or occupational health are preferred but not mandatory.
